The Jewelry Transformation Process
Step 1: Discovery
Every transformation begins with a personal consultation. Bring the jewelry you'd like to explore—even if you don't yet know what you want to do with it.
We'll discuss its history, what you love about the original piece, what you'd like to change, your personal style, and how you envision wearing the transformed jewelry.
Step 2: Evaluate
We carefully evaluate the existing piece and the diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, settings, and components that may be suitable for reuse.
Some elements may become central to the new design, while others may inspire an entirely different direction. This evaluation helps determine what can be preserved, repurposed, reset, or redesigned.
Step 3: Reimagine
Together, we explore new design concepts that honor the meaningful elements of your jewelry while creating something distinctly your own. A traditional ring might become a contemporary pendant. Multiple inherited stones could become a new family piece. A diamond may simply need a completely different setting to feel like you.
Step 4: Create
Once the design is approved, the transformation moves into the hands of skilled craftspeople. Existing stones and appropriate materials are incorporated into the new design, with careful attention to proportion, security, wearability, finishing, and detail.
